Bike Box Hire
The club has two bike boxes available for hire to club members at discounted rates.
The bike boxes are the ‘Bike Box Alan Premium Plus Deluxe’ - details below:
The handlebars, wheels and pedals must be removed. Whilst it is primarily designed for gravel bikes it will also accommodate road bikes up to 63cm, road bikes with tubeless tires up to 45mm and some Cross country 29er mountain bikes like the Scott Spark with 120 mm of travel and 2.3 inch wide tires.

Will my bike fit?
How to hire the bike boxes……
If you would like to hire the bike boxes. We ask for a payment of £50 per box per week (or part thereof) be made to the club account. £25 of this will be returned to you when the boxes arrive back, whilst £25 will go towards the eventual replacement of the boxes. Deposits will be returned within 48hours of the bike boxes arriving back. In the event of a two week booking, only one £25 deposit will need to be made, so a cost of £75 for two weeks, comprising one £25 deposit and two £25 payments for hire.
One ‘week’ will include up to 48 hours before the trips departure date, in order to prepare and pack, as well as 48 hours after the trip, in order to clean down and return. So up to 11 days maximum before a second weeks cost (an additional £25) is incurred.
